Job requirements
What we expect
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic consultant to strengthen our team:
3+ years of experience in experience in Financial Consulting and/or Banking Industry (ideally Credit Risk Management/Risk Controlling)
Strong understanding of prudential requirements for banks
Post-graduate Risk, Finance or Quantitative qualification, supplemented with professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, FRM), with strong analytical foundation
Proficiency in Excel; nice-to-have: R, Python and knowledge of their uses in the work environment
Consulting background highly preferable
Commercial mindset and ability to develop and grow personal client relationships and networks
Ability to participate and contribute to marketing efforts, relationship management and commercial proposals
Sound understanding of and practical experience with subject matter expertise (at leading financial institutions) such as:
ICAAP / ILAAP, capital / liquidity management and planning
Risk appetite and risk strategy, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and risk frameworks
Stress Testing, scenario analysis and forecasting
Regulatory and economic capital (incl. capital & RWA optimization)
Recovery and resolution planning
Balance sheet management / financial resource management
Credit portfolio management and profitability optimisation
Funds transfer pricing (FTP), asset liability management (ALM), regulatory liquidity ratios (e.g., LCR / NSFR)
Strong presentation skills and an ability to effectively communicate with senior and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with the delivery of high-priority projects and activities, under pressurized conditions
Experience with leading more junior team members with the execution of project tasks
A keen interest in supporting business development and contributing to the commercial success of our firm
Creative and lateral thinking as well as an intellectually curious mind
Ability to structure complex tasks in a goal-oriented way and deliver innovative solutions under tight timelines
Fluent in German and English (incl. the ability to create longer professional reports)
Openness to travel, mainly within Germany/Austria
